About Tampa Bay Trance Meetup

THANKS FOR YOUR INTEREST! This group is THE way to meet other Trance fans for friendship and fun times. Whenever I go out to my local clubs (Sarasota) I do end up having fun, even though the music is usually hip hop, rap, house, and breaks. I have respect for all types of music, but what gets me pumped is the lush, melodic beats of Progressive and Uplifting Trance, with and without vocals. So, if you're a fan of PVD, AVB, ATB, Tiesto, Oakie, etc., then you've found the right place!

Meetups are held at venues primarily in/around the Tampa Bay area, and can extend out to Orlando, Miami, and cities outside of Florida! [In Search of Sunrise....in search of Trance!] This is a great opportunity to check out venues that may be unfamiliar, or perhaps very familiar and you're excited to return! It's also an opportunity for member Trance DJs to form a solid following. We're here for support whether you're a newbie or a veteran. So please join TBTM and let us know where you can be seen in action!

Even though I'm the initiator of TBTM, I welcome to share the leadership role with others that have some time to spare. The democratic idea of sharing leadership responsibility is what helps with cohesion and therefore creates a sense of community. To benefit the group, every member should voice their thoughts and suggestions. So no holding back allowed! Give me a shout or a message. It would be great to have meetups at least once a month.

FOR THE LADIES, please be assured that joining this group is strictly about enjoying Trance music/DJs with other Trance fans (an ultra diverse group and very proud of that). Because I'm a happily married woman, my utmost concern for myself and for other females is our safety. Therefore, harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.

Please, any personality conflicts that may develop will have to be dealt with outside the group. Depending on the severity of the conflict, those members may be dropped from the group. At all gatherings positive energy is expected from everyone. For those that are younger than 21, most if not all meetups will be held at all-age venues; however, age restrictions do apply at some nightclub events. Sorry, I know that really sucks!
